  • A former Senior Parliamentary Officer in the charity sector, Ruth has delivered successful Parliamentary campaigns and events
  • Previously Ruth worked in Parliament for three years for the Shadow Conservative Minister Tim Loughton MP on the Shadow Health and Shadow Children,
  • Schools and Families Teams. While in Parliament she worked closely on numerous Bills, briefings and speeches as well as two Policy Reviews one of which investigated advertising and marketing to children
  • She has experience of working for a think tank, in both the European Parliament and Northern Ireland Assembly and has also sub-edited a book of political essays
  • Ruth graduated from Durham University with a degree in Politics and Philosophy and spent some of the immediate months afterwards working on a small current affairs magazine in India
