Martin heads Portland's Communications practice.
He joined Portland from the Prime Minister’s Office, where he was Head of Strategic Communication.
Martin worked for eight years in a range of senior communications roles at No10 under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
He was a former spokesman for Cabinet Ministers including Alistair Darling and also has a wider grounding in PR and journalism.
