Maria Pacheco

Client Strategy Director

Maria plays a lead role in Portland’s NY Office, managing media relations activity in Portland’s International Affairs unit for clients such as Millennium Promise and the Nduna Foundation, and supporting US implementation for Portland’s London-based clients.
Previous media experience includes working on social awareness campaigns for the Public Affairs unit at MTV Networks, providing communications support for the Africa Progress Panel and the Russian Government in Portland’s London office, and at Spanish-language media company Univision.
Maria graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Psychology and Romance Languages & Literatures. While at Harvard, she served on the executive team of the school’s prestigious Institute of Politics. She is bi-lingual in Spanish and also speaks Italian.
