- Prior to Portland, Kenny worked in the Bupa press office where he launched its first social media health clinics.
- Previously working as an economist at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Kenny produced daily economic briefing to share across Whitehall, No. 10 and the Bank of England during the Financial Crisis.
- Kenny punctuated his degree in Economics and Politics at Manchester University, with stints of experience in the BBC press office and at the Adam Smith Institute.
