- Idil joined Portland after leading the Conservative Party’s regional press operation ahead of and during the General Election campaign, working closely with the Party’s leadership and political teams.
- Before moving to London in 2007, Idil spent 11 years in Washington, DC working in communications and politics. Most recently, she was a Managing Director of the DC-based strategic communications firm CLS and worked for a range of corporate and foreign government clients.
- Idil has worked on Capitol Hill as Press Secretary for Congressman Phil English and has provided strategic communications advice for various interests in Washington, DC.
