  • Alexandra joined Portland in January 2010 as a Researcher in the Public Affairs team providing media and public affairs monitoring and research support
  • She has interned at the Social Market Foundation, where she worked on a variety of public policy research projects and in the Policy and Campaigns department of Breast Cancer Care
  • After this, she spent a year working as a Researcher for a Charity Consultancy with clients such as Macmillan, Oxfam and Asylum Aid
  • Alexandra graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Political Science, specialising in international development and gender issues. While at university she spent 3 months working at a NGO in Quito, Ecuador
