Alex joined Portland in 2009 and manages Portland’s Francophone communications, providing strategic and media advice to clients communicating to France and other Francophone countries.
He gained political and communications experience in campaigns in France and abroad, including working for a prominent French politician during the Parti Socialiste’s primaries in 2006.
Alex worked at the French weekly magazine Marianne, writing articles on international relations and politics. He also co-founded the newspaper Le Sorbet at la Sorbonne.
Alex studied History and International Relations at La Sorbonne and the University of Nottingham (MA), as well as Communications at the London School of Economics (MSc).
